OWYN Dark Chocolate Plant Based Protein Shake, 12 FZ

OWYN is my absolute favorite protein drink. I'm lactose intolerant and I'm not an athlete, so most protein drinks on the market don't fit my needs -- either they upset my stomach, fail to keep me satiated, or both. Plant protein is a great solution, but not all those drinks are created equal. Common problems are bad or chemical-y tastes, chalky texture, and zero calorie sweeteners with flavors that tend to hang around in the mouth for hours. OWYN doesn't have any of these issues! The monkfruit sweetener doesn't overstay its welcome, the protein is blended super smoothly, and the flavors are all delicious. (Would you believe the vanilla flavor might actually taste better than the chocolate? Unheard of for a protein drink, but I swear it's like ice cream!)Although the cartons are cheaper than the bottles, I feel like they taste a tiny bit different so I prefer to get the bottle. Fortunately they go on sale with fairly regularly, so it's not too hard on the wallet especially in comparison to other protein drinks out there. There's a 32g protein meal replacement version, but I feel like 20g is plenty filling -- the cold brew coffee flavor is a perfect grab-n-go breakfast. At one point I had to go on a liquid diet and these shakes fit the nutritional parameters my doctor set for me. Even after a few months of having these two meals a day, I'm not bored of them (plus I safely lost a nice amount of weight while following my doctor's other guidelines.)In my opinion, these are 10/10!
