I used this brand of broth base for years but about 2 yrs ago I was never able to find in grocery stores any longer. Tried other things, even a certain brand that is supposed to be better than anything else. It was fine but not as good as this. When I found this broth base on Amazon, I ordered 2 jars. I was so excited to finally find this broth base again. I make a chicken barley soup and had always used this broth base until I could no longer find it. My soup was good with the other broth base I could find in the store but not nearly as good as when I used Orrington. When I started making my chicken barley soup again with Orrington, my family, friends, and neighbors were all telling me how much richer my chicken barley soup was. My 50 year old son told me he had forgotten how much more delicious the soup was now that I was using this broth base again.
