I enjoy keeping various instant soup bases in the pantry for quick lunches, and this tea bag style is a handy alternative to the liquid concentrates I usually buy. I just steeped one bag in hot water for about a minute (it really doesn't take long to extract the flavor) and it delivers that distinct gamchilmat depth you expect from a proper anchovy and kelp stock. It is salty and savory enough to drink on its own on a cold day, but I can see it working well as a base for a quick noodle dish too.
