These are the same coveted bouillon cubes I used to get when I lived in Tuscany, Italy! Porcini mushrooms have a distinctive, nutty flavor that won me over and these bouillon cubes smell and taste like porcini and add a lot of savory umami flavor to whatever you’re cooking. The price is good for a specialty imported food item. You get 10 cubes per box and 4 boxes per order. Shelf life is great, too, but you will likely run out before they come close to expiration since they can be used to enhance so many recipes. If you are on the fence, don’t hesitate to purchase!
