Easy way to add flavor and scent of Bonita flakes, especially when you don't want the texture of the flakes in the soup. So easy to use. Just take out the pouch and throw it in hot water when you are cooking. Really adds a dimension of flavor to your cooking. Smell of Bonita flakes is really strong, which is what makes this really different than the hondashi granules. This tastes more natural and genuine as bonita flakes. I know there are some added ingredients, but the bonita really comes out on top. Pouches are a bit larger than tea bags. Maybe about the size of 2 teabags each. Easy to remove out of the soup at the end of cooking. High quality stuff.
