Amazon Chocolate - 8.46 oz - Powder

I've been using Greens+ Wild Berry Burst for some time, but always thought it was a bit on the sweet side straight in water and prefer it with a fruit smoothie. However, on a whim, before having thyroid surgery, I ordered the Greens+ Amazon Chocolate. I figured if my throat was sore, and I was likely to be having a bit of trouble swallowing, this would be a good way to get some of the vitamins and minerals from veggies that I might not be comfy eating for a week or two. I saw the review that said it tasted like mud, so I was a bit concerned I would dislike the taste or texture.No worries! Arrival was the day after surgery, I mixed mine first with half almond milk, half water, using a fork, I thought it tasted great, very chocolaty! Bear in mind, I do like dark chocolate, the 85% cacao sort, and that's what this reminds me of. Because I was having a bit of post-surgery constipation, I also later tried it with a tablespoon of orange flavor Metamucil mixed in, and that tasted fine to me as well.I noticed that I felt a bit more alert and perkier after drinking this stuff, I've been having it twice a day. It is also good with some chocolate protein powder mixed into the almond milk if you want a more substantial shake.It seems to mix well, with either a fork or hand-blender. I absolutely will buy more! Great way to get a chocolate fix without all the sugar and fat! Anyway, I'm recovering well from my surgery, and though I suspect my recovery would have been fine without this product, it has at least helped meet my chocolate cravings! I will definitely buy more in the future!
