Scots invent the ‘Brewburger’, when meat meets beer

The brewburger comes of course with a beer. Now that’s what we call a happy meal.

Normally we don’t really like to make advertisement unless we get paid to do so, but this time we’ll make an exception. We received some awesome news from Scotland today, where the first beerburger has been created. That’s right, finally meat meets beer. The ‘Brewburger’, as the inventors from Brewdog and Honest Burgers call their creation, is a meal for the true drinker. You can’t even buy one without a valid ID. Now that’s the stuff. We have told you about alcoholic drinks for carnivores, as well as the greatest alcohol infused party snacks, but this burger brings the combination between food and booze to a whole new level.

Now you might be a little sceptical about the Scottish cuisine, since the Scots also invented haggis and deep fried Mars bars. But these burgers actually sound tasty. So what do you actually get when you order a Brewburger? Well, on the website of Brewdog we saw that the 150 grams of meat are well surrounded by beer soaked ingredients. Beer candied bacon, beer fried onions and a BBQ sauce that contains beer. Plus with the burger comes a Scotch ale called Bourbon Baby with 5,6% alcohol. Now that’s what we call a happy meal. Honest Burgers will sell the latest invention all over the United Kingdom from 3rd of March. It almost seems worth it to book a holiday in Scotland.

  1. MIcky, I lov this culinary concept. I read somewhere that nobody can beat the Scots and the Argentinans at beef dishes and I might have to agree.

Next time I have the gang over I am feedin them my own unique “Happy Burger”, with a touch of bourbon and beer in it.

You’re a gem, Micky! I love you bunches for sharing this with us. 🙂
