Now here’s an unusual post. Remember our friend Chef Zhoro? He has a new website now on which he challenged people to make their own recipe from some random ingredients. Well, in the words of the great Barney Stinson: challenge accepted! Of course we wouldn’t be the Lords of the Drinks if we didn’t came up with a cure for hangovers. To be fair we’ve never tried this heavy tuna salad before, but we’re almost sure it’s not lethal. So feel free to try it out. Below are the rules for this cooking contest and our dish. Also don’t be afraid to afraid to send in your own, we’re not afraid of a little competition.

The rules at Top Food:

Help us cook in our new game – Kitchen Disasters, and you can get a free advertising of your blog on our website for 2 weeks!
Here, you can see a picture of many products. We don’t know what to cook with them, so we are expecting that you will help us by creating a unique dish out of these products. You don’t have to use all. Just create the best possible recipe out of what we have on the picture and post it in the comment section below. The quantities you can use are unlimited (the picture just shows you the products).

And yes, it’s that easy – create the recipe (you don’t have to cook it), share it (in the comment section below)  and be the best!
The best idea, decided by the Top Food Facts team at the end of each week, will be cooked by us, and posted on our site with our pictures and credits to the winner’s website. In addition the winner is going to have a free advertising on our website for 2 weeks. Our site gets around 10000 to 15000 visits per month, mainly from the USA and the UK.
We expect your ideas! The first competition starts today, 16/06, and the winner will be chosen on the 23rd of June. Good luck food lovers!

Our dish:
Well if the Lords of the Drinks make up a recipe it better is one that can fix a hangover. So here we go. I have never tried anything like this before, but I think it should taste great. And if not at least help you recover from a hard night of partying.

Ingredients:
5 normal sized waxy potatoes
4 eggs
1 bunch of radishes (about 25)
1 jar of small pickles (they come in 330 gram, but use only half of the pickles)
3 cans of tuna (a 200 gram)
1 cup of double cream (200 gram)
olive oil
salt
green peppercorns
fresh lemon juice (2 lemons)

Preparation:
Peal the potatoes and cut them up in small cubes. 1-2 cm long. Boil them in salted water until tender. Throw away the water and leave them to cool in a salad bowl.
Now boil the eggs for about 15 minutes. Then peal them and separate the white part from the yolk. Cut up the white part and put it in with the potato. If you like you can add extra salt.
Now mix the yolk with the tuna, the cream and some olive oil in another bowl. When properly mixed gently add this mix to the salad bowl with the potato and egg white.
Now cut up the radish and pickles in slices. Once everything in the salad bowl is properly cooled down you add these slices along with some green peppercorns (it’s up to you how many you wanna add).
Now squeeze 2 lemons over the bowl and you got yourself a proper salad that’s guaranteed to cure your hangover.
Serve with extra salt and black peppers for those who want.
